Material- and/or system-tests in the files of fastening and assembly technology can be conducted at the faculty own "Institut für Bauforschung".
The general equipment is as follows:
- Servohydraulic and mechanical testing machines from 1 kN to 5000 kN
- Testing field (9 x 12 m) with flexible test setups with forces up to 4 MN
- Variable servo-hydraulic test cylinders from 63 kN to 1600 kN
- Up-to-date measuring and control electronics for testing and data recording
- Hydraulic actuators 63 kN to 2500 kN
- Workshops for metal- and woodwork
- Electronics lab
- Concreting field
- Cement and concrete lab
